Education and Background:
Currently studying at Bahria University Islamabad, doing Business Management, last year of graduation.
Inspiration:
Outlandish, Nas, Tupac, Biggie Smalls, Big Pun, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Junoon. Acting: Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Joe Pesci & Edward Norton
How I got interested in music:
Well I’d been writing poems and was good at writing essays and stuff so it inspired me for writing songs and that’s how I got into songwriting. Later, I started rapping my written verses and then I figured I could sing too after I started doing some home-recordings and stuff. Then I got to meet Asad Kamal one day, I was 15 at that time and I recorded my debut single “Kar De” at his Studio 051. That’s just about it
Music training:
None, you don’t get training for the kind of music that I do. All you need is a good composition and good lyrics and you can make a good song out of it
Motivation:
My dad, he’s just simply the best in the whole world. He supports me in whatever I do. And that keeps me motivated.
Learning comes from:
Learning, it comes out of failure. You always get success when you’ve had failure before in life. I’ve had many so I hope I’m close to success now, Insha’Allah.
Favorite bands/musicians:
Musicians or a band that really inspired me to do music can only and only be Outlandish. I was kind of impressed by what Waqas Ali Qadri was doing as a Pakistan rapper in the band and thought I could step up to the game one day too and so I did. Other than that, The Beatles are awesome! I’m a huge fan of Rock N Roll, basically all the music from the 50’s to the 70’s.
Expectations being an artist:
My expectations as an artist would always be that people like and appreciate my work. Nothing more, nothing less.
Biggest desire:
I would want to go to Moon and see how it is like there and while you’re at it. Why not a date with Charlize Theron or Scarlett Johansson on moon? Jeez, that’d be wonderful: P
Message to readers:
One word: PEACE
