With almost 65, 000 plus views and 196 ratings of the song on You Tube. The LUMS guy deserves first ranking with his hit single. He writes, composes and sings his songs himself, with lot of melancholy in his songs. The fresh talent is not bound to red tape limitations; Bilal proves it by hitting on You Tube, with his deep and mesmerizing song.

2. Chue Chue ( Zain ul Abideen)

Simple words like awesome song, awesome vocals, awesome video, awesome music and awesome lyrics define new talent Zain as one of the top five debuts.

3. Mein Chala (Nouman Javaid)

With a song for Bollywood Film Jashan, Nouman delivers his moaning and powerful vocals with very soft guitar touches in the song. The deep grief and sad touch goes well with the lyrics.

4. Maan Lo (Zohaib Kazi featuring Zara Madani & Naad e Ali)

After a long time, it’s a brilliant attempt to some soulful music.

5. Tanha (Qayaas)

With the video of song “Tanha”, Qayaas has really done a good job. The song has more instrumentation with a dark touch to it. With higher tempos added afterwards, Tanha turns out to be a heavy rocking hit with strong riffs and drums. Umeed is a comparatively lighter track.

The light-eyed LUMS boy has again come up with, “Lamha”, after almost 60,000 plus views of the track “Bachana” on You Tube. His voice really touches heart and sounds great. He writes, sings and composeshis songs himself. It’s a highly deep and mesmerizing song, with haunting vocals. His “Gham na Aaye” is equally amazing and mind blowing, with softer guitar touches. The one performed on the Fasi Zaka show has a slightly different touch of melody to it. One finds a much mature and deeper touch in his vocals now. I have listened to both the versions and found slight change, with the later being much more subterranean. After “Gham”, the next single “Lamha” has the same deep and melancholic touch to it, with his extremely natural voice. The new single “Lamha”, recorded and mixed by Fayyaz Ahmed sounds deep and touchy. I foundunplugged versions of his songs much nicer. Let’s wait for some studio sessions too. With almost one thousand views, “Lamha”, is not as soulful as “Gham” or “Bachana”, but worth listening. One finds a kind of monotone throughout the single, with the starting symphony being all over the same in the track. Besides being a spiritually soulful sonata, one finds little change in all of his singles. A kind of monotone or similaroeuvre follows all over the tracks. Being a young and energetic musician, one finds much melancholy and grieving tones in his tracks. I found little love or jolly-mood messages in all of his songs. After researching a little, his sad songs and lyrics were an outcome of his bad grades during studies. That sounds really inspiring but his songs should have some lively touch to them too. Just playing sad or writing gloomy lyrics with melancholic composition would make it droning. Nevertheless, “Lamha” is a good job by him. The core beauty of his composition truly comes from his own life experiences, which deeply get reflected in his lyrics as well. One simply remembers Taylor Swift’s “Fifteen”, beautifully penned by her that reflects her own life experiences. Nice job, keep rocking Bilal.
